there are 10 of these stickers now holding shop in my neighborhood. two houses down the person plastering them got so bold and stuck one on my neighbor's door. silly and fun and also sort of creepy. i think it's the word "mommy" and the fact that everything is capitalized. sort of makes me laugh and gives me the willies simultaneously. oh glorious compensation. oh . oh mommy.

olls is my best buddy. buddo, friend. this is a little piece of my intimate world--homestyle in oakland. i think often about that axiom--that dogs resemble their owners and vice versa. it seems odd, but true sometimes i guess--like "hey lady, you look like yr poodle" okay, cool. anyway, i would be proud to resemble olls here. what an amazing expression, and all those gilded sundreanched whiskers. such an enviable mug indeed.
